Our Ag/Al conductive silicone shielding strip delivers shielding effectiveness up to 130dB – blocking 99.9999%+ of electromagnetic emissions. At 100MHz, it achieves 115dB; at 10GHz, 100dB. This significantly exceeds the MIL-DTL-83528 minimum requirement of 100dB, making it the premier choice for military, aerospace, and high-end medical applications where maximum shielding is non-negotiable.
Our Ag/Al conductive silicone achieves volume resistivity as low as 0.007–0.008 Ω·cm – approximately 12 times lower than nickel-carbon (≤0.1 Ω·cm). This exceptionally low resistivity ensures superior electrical continuity across the entire seal interface, providing consistent grounding performance even under demanding conditions.
Our Ag/Al EMI shielding strips are manufactured to meet MIL-G-83528 Type B specifications – the military standard for conductive EMI shielding gaskets. This ensures stringent quality control, proven performance, and full traceability. Every batch is tested to military requirements, with full documentation available for compliance verification.
Our Ag/Al conductive silicone strip operates reliably from -60°C to +200°C. This extreme temperature range makes it suitable for aerospace applications (extreme altitude and temperature variations), military equipment (desert, arctic, and marine environments), and high-power electronic enclosures where heat dissipation is critical.
Ag/Al conductive silicone offers good EMP resistance – protecting sensitive electronics against electromagnetic pulse events. This is a critical requirement for military and strategic infrastructure applications where EMP protection is mandated. Unlike Ni/C, which offers limited EMP protection, Ag/Al provides superior pulse survivability.
Ag/Al offers excellent corrosion resistance and good corrosion behavior, making it the preferred choice for military and aerospace applications where long-term reliability in corrosive environments is critical. The silver-plated aluminum filler provides excellent galvanic compatibility with aluminum housings – ideal for aerospace enclosures, telecom cabinets, and other aluminum-based equipment.
